The Best Finger Foods you can have while enjoying your Favourite Drink!!
Be it house parties or even clubs, pairing your kind of drinks with suitable kind of food is an unalterable process. Every drink has a significant taste of its own that appeals to us. But those exact drinks, when combined and consumed with particular foods, tend to bring out and highlight the true flavors of that particular drink. For many of us, an ideal picture of drinking is usually always paired with some smoked or grilled or chicken starters and some suitable music. No, I am not forgetting our fellow vegetarians. The idea of adding the same adjectives before paneer or cottage cheese as you call it, is equally tempting too. Contrast or complementary tastes of food are often the enhancers of the flavors of drinks.
Let’s check out some Appetizing Combinations that can go best with your Favorite Drink!
- Beer Buds
Beer automatically takes us to a chilled evening with friends and light moods. Thank God there is no definite beer time, it’s Beer time All the Time! So to go with the mood along with some jazz and bass, some freshly Baked Sausages might be a good start. To boost up your taste buds, add some tang with a hint of spicy chicken wings which would work perfectly fine! Also, some fries or nacho dishes never can be a disappointment!
- Wine - dine
Each drink has a significance of its own, that of Wine is undoubtedly its sophistication! Wine is at it's best when had with cheese, chocolates or fruits. So a glass of wine with maybe a Cheese Pizza or even some Cheese Straws or Toasts would be a great combo! Chocolate Dipped Fruits can also compliment your drink. When you go for a Sangria, a tempting Hot Cheese Fondue will just work wonders!!
- Rum sum
This one has its own bittersweet-ness. Be it foods cooked in Rum or had with it, either ways we’re certain that it will taste lip- smackingly divine. Foods that can go best with Rum would be Rum Chicken which has a hint of sweet and spice to it with a tangy punch grilled with Rum. You could also try spicy Indian style meatballs or curried chicken salad. The idea of having Roasted Red Pepper Chicken doesn’t sound bad as well!
- Scotch/ Whiskey
These ‘To be enjoyed by the Sip’ drinks have a different class of their own. Similar to wine, whiskey pairings are also done on the same levels - Strong Whiskey Spicy Food, Light Whiskey Delicate Flavours. Remember the song from 2 States? - "Yaaran da Imaan Whiskey, uspe Chicken ho to Hor Wadhiya!" Perfect words. We’re all familiar with the most famous Whiskey-Chicken coupling which in the true sense of the word is an amazing combination. So it goes without saying that any chicken dish can go pretty well with this one! And if cooked in Indian spices, it’s all the more tastier. Ever tried Rogan Josh with it? Apart from the meat, many vegetables cooked in spices are a good match to the drink!
All things said, or at least some of it, pairing and trying foods with the drinks for us Adaptive lot isn’t a big Challenge ,though, is it? All we ask for is some Spirit with munchies and a squad to enjoy it with, that’s enough to ignite in us the Party Vibe!
